Cancelation/rescheduling

If your school/organization is unable to fulfill a contractual agreement due to unforseen circumstances, it is neccessary to contact Sadecky's Puppets as soon as possible in order to reschedule and avoid any added costs.

If inclement weather causes a delay or closing, the office will offer a rescheduling of the show (free of charge). If the purchaser cancels without notice (the day of the show) and Sadecky's puppeteers arrive at the place of engagement, the full amount of the booking will be owed even though no performance has taken place.

If the purchaser cancels before the contracted date the deposit is surrendered.

Discounts

There are discounts available for multiple show and multiple school bookings. The current discount information is available by calling the toll free number.

Parking

The puppeteers will require one parking space big enough for a large van. If you have no on-site parking available you will need to provide a spot for the van elsewhere. If there is no free parking then the purchaser will be responsible for any parking costs.

Loading / Unloading

Our equipment is heavy and there are many pieces to carry. For this reason we need to get to the set-up area by way of the shortest, easiest route. Please try to have the puppeteers enter the door closest to the set-up area. If there is a very long distance to the set-up area we would appreciate the use of your dolley or cart - providing there is one available. If there is an excessive amount of distance or stairs you need to alert the salsperson when you are contracting the booking so that extra time will be alloted for the time it takes to unload in extreme conditions.

 

Set-up Tear-down Requirements

It is neccesary for our puppeteers to have sufficient time and space to set-up and tear-down the stage, sound system and lighting equipment. The puppeteers will arrive about an hour before show time to set up. The area where our portable stage is to be set-up must be clean and free from all debris such as coats, chairs, tables, desks etc.. The tear-down process is faster and usually takes 20-30 minutes.
